Vasu Bhagnani is the father of popular Bollywood producer and actor Jackie Bhagnani. He has accused Netflix of fraud. According to media reports, Vasu has claimed that Netflix has not paid him Rs 47.37 crore. Now Netflix has also responded to Vasu’s allegations.
Netflix denied Vasu’s allegations
Netflix has completely rejected the allegations made by Vasu Bhagnani regarding money. A spokesperson of Netflix has said that Vasu’s allegations are completely false and baseless. Also, the spokesperson said that on the contrary, Netflix has to take money from Pooja Entertainment. Let us tell you that Pooja Entertainment is Vasu’s company.
EOW starts investigation against Netflix
The Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) of Mumbai Police has taken action on the allegations of alleged financial fraud by Vasu Bhagnani. EWO has started an investigation against Netflix. Along with this, action has also been taken against companies associated with Netflix.

This whole matter is related to three films produced by Vasu Bhagnani – ‘Hero Number One’, ‘Mission Raniganj’ and ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’. Let us tell you that Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff played the lead roles in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. This film released this year was a flop. Later it was streamed on Netflix. Akshay was also in the lead role in Mission Raniganj.
Vasu alleges that Netflix conspired to take the rights of these three films. He also claimed that despite Netflix buying the SVOD rights of these films, it has not paid Rs 47.37 crore. On the other hand, Netflix is also accusing Vasu of not paying the money. Currently, EOW is investigating the matter.
