A case of Chairman Sarfaraz Ahmed threatening a person for complaining about the quality of drain construction work in Jahanaganj of Azamgarh district has come to light. In this case, the police have registered a case against nine people on the complaint of the victim.

In the complaint given to the police, town resident Shah Faisal had alleged that on September 25, he had complained about the quality of drain construction. He observed that the construction was being done with dirty drain water, which was deteriorating the quality of construction.

He complained about this to Wasim Alam, who was supervising the construction. Wasim abused Shah Faesal for his mother and sister and said that this is the work of the chairman and the construction is being done on his instructions. After this, Shah Faisal complained about this to Chairman Sarfaraz Ahmed.

The chairman called him home. When he reached his house, many people were already present there.

He was beaten up by those people. They were also threatened that if they went from the construction site again, they would be killed. Then a written complaint was filed by him against nine people in Jahanaganj police station. In this case, Jahanaganj police has registered a case against nine people including the chairman. Which includes Chairman Sarfaraz Alam, Reyaz Ahmed, Shahnawaz, Zulfekar Ahmed, Raees Ahmed, Abdul Kasir, Shah Alam, Kailul Vasar and Wasim Alam.

A complaint was received against the Chairman of Jahanaganj Police Station Nagar Panchayat for assaulting a person. On the basis of which, apart from the Chairman, a case has been registered against eight other persons. It is being discussed. Action will be taken based on facts.
