Heart-wrenching news has come out from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Laborer Naushad beat his ten-year-old son Ahad to death at around 9 am on Saturday morning in village Theori 13 Biswa of Bhojpur in Modinagar. He suspected that his son had stolen Rs 500 from his pocket.
Due to this suspicion, he first beat him with a belt and then kept hitting him on the head with an iron hammer until he died. Police say that Naushad was instigated to murder by his second wife and Ahad’s stepmother Razia.
Grandmother Shahjahan Khatoon, who was an eyewitness to this brutal murder, lodged a named report against Naushad and Razia. On this the police first arrested Razia and then Naushad. Naushad had fled after the murder. The blood stained blower and belt have been recovered.
Shahjahan Khatoon told that Naushad had returned after working as a laborer in the morning. As soon as he came, he told Razia that Rs 500 note was missing from his pocket. Razia replied that Ahad might have stolen it, search him. Naushad called Ahad and asked about the note. The son said that he did not know where the note went? On this Naushad started beating him with a belt.
