Many times, seniors in the office start treating their juniors like personal property. Something similar happened with a girl, who had to take breakfast to her boss every day. This work had become a part of her daily job, even though she worked in an educational institute and not in the hospitality industry.
‘Bring tea and snacks daily, keep a water bottle ready’
According to the report of South China Morning Post, when the girl surnamed Lou joined the job, she got a female boss as her supervisor. He told her in advance that every morning he would have to bring her Americano coffee and an egg for breakfast. Apart from this, he will have to keep a water bottle ready all the time, so that he can drink water whenever he feels like. At first the girl kept doing this but one day she expressed this on the work chat group.

The girl expected that she would be helped but instead the administrator of the chat group kicked her out. Later the HR also fired him from the job saying that he would not get any compensation. Soon this incident came to the notice of the people and there was a strong reaction to it. After this, on September 12, the company once again hired Lou and fired his supervisor Liu. However, compensation was not paid to Lou on the grounds that this was a matter between Lou and his supervisor and not HR’s involvement.
