The registry office built in 1915 located in the Sadar police station area of Mathura is currently dilapidated. The building is so dilapidated that it may collapse any time. There is a traffic of about 2.5 thousand people here every day. The administration has also declared the registry building sealed. Administrative officers are making efforts for office relocation, but no building is being found on rent.

Many times when it rains, the employees have to open the office at night and put polythene to protect the 15 bags kept here.
