Shuklaganj News: There was a commotion in the ground at Gopinathapuram when the stage of Ramlila broke due to ground subsidence. People narrowly escaped death.

The program of crown worship was going on at the beginning of Ramlila on Wednesday at Gopinathpuram ground in Shuklaganj. Then the front part of the stage broke due to ground subsidence. It is being told that the incident occurred due to the large number of spectators on the stage. The table of the tent placed on the stage broke. However, there was no casualty in the accident. There was chaos for a long time due to the incident. Later, the stage was repaired and the Ramlila program was started again.

Committee patron Virendra Shukla says that there is no information on how the land sank. It had rained recently, which may have caused the ground to be moist. Apart from this, some people had sat more in the front part of the stage, due to which this happened. Kotwali in-charge Gangaghat Anurag Singh said that on information, police force was sent to the spot. There is no report of anyone being injured. The place where Ramlila is being staged has sandy soil, maybe there was moisture after the rain in the past and such an accident happened.
