PM Internship Scheme Portal launching today candidates can apply from this date


The Central Government has launched a centralized portal under the PM Internship Scheme from October 3, which will provide internship opportunities to the youth. Through this portal various companies will be able to invite applications from interested candidates. Interested interns can apply on this special portal (PM Internship Scheme Portal) from October 12.

The purpose of this portal is to automatically select double the applicants for the available vacancies. Applicants will have to fill a form, in which they will have to give information about their interests and skills. The portal will decide which candidates are suitable for which company. Along with this, CV will also be prepared.

It was announced in the budget

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their profile, choice and eligibility. The companies participating in the scheme will choose their candidates from this selected list. According to sources, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs has also sent guidelines for the eligibility of the candidates to the participating companies. In the budget presented in July, the central government had announced a plan to provide internship to one crore youth. Companies like Reliance Industries, Adani Group and Mahindra have shown interest in this scheme.

Pay special attention to these things

The applicant should be 10th pass, age should be 21 to 24 years, and the annual income of the family should not exceed Rs 8 lakh. Apart from this, the applicant will not be allowed to do full time course or internship along with the job. Graduate candidates from prestigious institutes like IIT, IIM, and IISER will also not be able to apply. Students pursuing online courses or vocational training can participate in this scheme, provided half of the internship is actual work experience.

You will get this much stipend

Each intern will receive a stipend of Rs 5,000 per month, out of which Rs 4,500 will be given by the government and Rs 500 by the companies. After one year, additional Rs 6,000 will also be given by the government.

These are the important documents

Documents required to apply include Aadhaar card, email ID, mobile number, address proof, educational qualification and PAN card. This initiative will provide employment opportunities to one crore youth, which will play an important role in their professional journey.
