Tension has increased in the Middle East country amid the Iran-Israel war. On Tuesday night, Iran fired 200 missiles one after the other at Israel. In which most of the missiles were shot down in the air, the Iron Dome, which is called Israel’s defense shield, played the biggest role in destroying the missions in the air.
Now Israel is preparing to attack Iran. Due to which a discussion has started that who is with whom, which countries are standing with Iran and which countries are standing with Israel? At the same time, the people of India are also interested to know which country India is with, with Iran or with Israel, so let us know what is India’s stand regarding the war between these two countries? Amidst the Israel-Iran conflict, India has issued an advisory for its citizens living in these two countries. India has been in favor of a peaceful settlement on this issue.

The United Nations General Assembly had said this
Although India was one of the first countries to recognize the Palestinian state in 1988. But in recent years, India does not seem to be clearly inclined towards any one side on the situation in the Middle East.
Last month, a resolution brought against Israel in the United Nations General Assembly called for ending the Israeli occupation of Gaza and the West Bank within a year.
This proposal was brought after the advisory of the International Court of Justice i.e. ICJ. In the 193-member United Nations General Assembly, 124 member countries voted in favor of this proposal.
14 countries voted against this proposal and 43 countries including India abstained from this voting.

These countries are included in BRICS
The BRICS grouping includes Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. India is the only country in the BRICS group which was abstained from voting.
Israel is among those countries which spend huge amount of money for their defence. It has also been included among the top countries in terms of cutting-edge technologies and weapons. Israel’s defense budget is 24.4 billion dollars.
