Exit Poll Results 2024 Live: The three-phase elections in Jammu and Kashmir are over. Whereas in Haryana, voting is taking place on all the seats in the first phase on Saturday (5 October 2024). Elections were held for the first time in Jammu and Kashmir after the removal of Article 370. Here the first phase of voting was held on 18th September and the second phase of voting was held on 25th September. Voting was completed on 90 assembly seats during the third phase of voting in Jammu and Kashmir on October 1.

Voting for the assembly elections took place in Jammu and Kashmir after 10 years, due to which now people’s eyes are fixed on the results on October 8. This time BJP-Congress have put in all their strength for the Haryana Assembly elections. Voting for 90 assembly seats of Haryana started on Saturday amid tight security arrangements. In this election, the political fate of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, former Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda, Congress candidate Vinesh Phogat, Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) Dushyant Chautala and 1027 other candidates will be decided.

According to Haryana Chief Electoral Officer Pankaj Aggarwal, 2 crore 3 lakh 54 thousand 350 voters are eligible to exercise their franchise, out of which 8,821 voters are above 100 years of age. A total of 1,031 candidates are contesting on 90 seats, of which 101 are women. Of these candidates, 464 are independents. A total of 20,632 polling stations have been set up in the state. Major parties trying their luck in Haryana elections include BJP, Congress, Aam Aadmi Party, Indian National Lok Dal-Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) alliance and Jannayak Janata Party-Azad Samaj Party alliance.

Talking about the 2019 assembly elections in Haryana, BJP got 40 seats, while Congress got 31 seats. Whereas JJP got 10 seats, Independents got seven seats and Indian National Lok Dal got one seat. Talking about vote share, in the last assembly elections, BJP got 36.49 percent votes, Congress got 28.08 percent votes.

Talking about the 2019 assembly elections in Haryana, BJP got 40 seats, while Congress got 31 seats. Whereas JJP got 10 seats, Independents got seven seats and Indian National Lok Dal got one seat. Talking about vote share, in the last assembly elections, BJP got 36.49 percent votes, Congress got 28.08 percent votes. JJP’s vote share was 14.80 percent, independent candidates had 9.17 percent.
