There are many people who would be interested in purchasing this type of home. The house, said to be Britain’s most haunted house, is available for sale just four years after being taken off the market. This house is available at a price of Rs 2 crore 76 lakh.
Known as ‘The Cage’, this house was once a medieval prison for witches. Former owner of the house, Vanessa Mitchell, claims that she was physically attacked by spirits in the house, haunted by ghostly figures, pushed while pregnant and saw mysterious blood splatters.
A plaque on the side of this house states that the local witch Ursula Kemp was kept here before her execution in 1582. Vanessa bought the property in 2005. While living in the house, he was convinced that the house was haunted by ghosts.
Featured in a Channel 4 documentary in 2018, the spooky house was last sold in 2020 after being on the market for 12 years. Speaking in the documentary, Vanessa said, “The house is absolutely haunted, there’s no doubt that this house is very haunted, it always has been.
Since it was sold, the home has undergone some renovations. But now it is back in the market after just four years. This two-bedroom house is located on the outskirts of the Essex village of St Osyth, near Clacton-on-Sea. It is now being offered for sale by the current owners as “a relaxing and quaint holiday destination that offers promising returns on investment.
According to property website Rightmove, where the house is listed, the price was reduced on June 17. Apart from two bedrooms, the house has a bathroom, a separate living room, a separate dining room and kitchen, as well as a downstairs toilet. The home is currently under offer according to estate agents Lamb & Co.
