On Wednesday, attackers injured a young man by stabbing him outside W Mall in Rohini Sector-3. The injured youth has been identified as Deepak. The police have admitted him to a nearby hospital. The entire incident has been captured in CCTV cameras. Police are trying to identify the accused and arrest them on the basis of the footage.

Deepak lives with his family in Begumpur area. On Sunday, he had come to W Mall located in Rohini Sector-3 for some work. During this time, he had a dispute with the boys present there over some issue. The accused beat him up and dragged him to a tree and a young man attacked him brutally with a knife. Due to this he got seriously injured and fell there. People present nearby informed the police about the incident.

Police reached the spot and admitted him to a nearby hospital. Deepak has a knife on his leg and hand. Police have registered a case on his statement. The police officer said that initial investigation revealed that the attack was due to enmity.

Young man’s jaw broken by hitting him with helmet after asking for directions

A bike rider attacked a young man with a helmet when he asked for directions in Mehraula area. The victim’s jaw was broken in the attack. The accused absconded after committing the incident. After receiving the complaint, the police admitted the victim to a nearby hospital. Where after getting treatment, the police have registered a case on the statement of the victim. The victim has been identified as Hemant.

He lives with his family in Maidangarhi. In the complaint given to the police, Hemant told that on the morning of 26th September, he was going by bike for some work. He reached near Chhatarpur Sai Baba bus stand. There a young man riding a bike was talking on the phone on the road. He honked his horn and asked for directions. The accused started abusing. When he refused, he broke his jaw by hitting him with his helmet.

Robbery by strangulation of an elderly woman

Miscreants robbed a 75 year old woman in Moti Nagar area. The miscreants strangulated the woman who had gone to bring her granddaughter from tuition and ran away after looting her earrings. After checking about 70 to 80 CCTV cameras, the police reached the miscreants and arrested two miscreants from Punjabi Bagh.

On their information, the police arrested an associate of the criminal, who had sold the earring to a jeweller. Police have recovered the jewel from the jeweller. 75-year-old Sarla Bhatia, resident of Sudarshan Park, complained of robbery on October 3. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot. The victim told that she had gone to bring her granddaughter from tuition at around 7.45 pm.

While coming back, two miscreants came from behind near the house. One strangulated her and the other took off her gold earrings. When she protested, they beat her, due to which the victim got injured and became unconscious.

The person who shot Imam in Meerut arrested

Sartaj, the absconding accused in the case of firing on Imam in Meerut, has been arrested by the East District Police on Sunday. Police have recovered a pistol, two big knives and two cartridges from accused Sartaj. The police officer said that policemen of Ghazipur police station of Eastern district were checking vehicles near DDA Park Paper Market on Sunday evening.

At around 6.45 pm, a young man was coming from the Murga Mandi side. He started going towards Khoda Colony via Paper Market. During this time, he got scared after seeing the police and started running away. The police team ran and caught him near the gate of DDA Park Paper Market.
