After the call was not answered, the caller started messaging to get the KYC of the SIM done. The next day on October 4, a call came again from the same number at ten in the morning. This time he picked up the call. The caller started asking for KYC of the SIM. The caller trapped the Deputy Superintendent of Posts in the phone conversation that lasted for about an hour.

An app was downloaded in his mobile to get KYC done. Then in the name of KYC charge, Rs 10 was transferred from the Deputy Superintendent of Posts. Meanwhile the caller hacked his mobile. It is alleged that during this time the criminal Sabir withdrew Rs 5.9 lakh from one bank account and Rs 4.10 lakh from the other. Upon realizing the fraud, Deputy Superintendent of Posts Ram Bahadur turned around and called the fraudster, but his mobile phone started switching off. The vicious person broke the FD and took out his money also. He was in the office at the time of the incident. Hearing about the fraud, there was panic among the employees present nearby. He called the fraudster several times, but he switched off the phone. After becoming a victim of fraud, the Deputy Superintendent of Posts has registered himself as a victim of cyber fraud on the online portal. The police of cyber station is busy in investigating the horoscope of the accused.
