Chhatarpur: districts There is such an ancient temple of Mother Goddess in Badorakalan village where there is a crowd of devotees throughout the year. This temple of Mother Goddess is one of the 52 Shaktipeeths of the Goddess. Here mother is known as Bhadrakali. This temple is also related to King Karna. Priest Shiv Narayan Sharma while talking to Local 18 says that this temple of Maa is related to the 52 Shaktipeeths of the Goddess. Today this religious place is known by the name Maa Bhadrakali.

It is said that Mother Bhadrakali herself blessed Karna by giving him gold, which he used to donate among Brahmins and the poor. A unique feature of this temple is its miraculous rock, which was earlier very small and has now grown big. A big fair is organized here on the occasion of Kartik and Vaishakhi Purnima, in which devotees come from far and wide.

Donor Karna is related to this temple
Talking to Local 18, the priest says that King Karna of Dwapar has also received the blessings of Mother Bhadrakali. Mother herself used to give gold to the charitable Karna and then King Karna used to donate it to Brahmins and the poor.

The rock of the temple is amazing
According to the priest and devotees, earlier devotees used to come to this temple lying down to have darshan of the mother because the granite rock gate was very small. Gradually this rock grew and now devotees stand there and take darshan.

A fair is held here

According to priest Shivnarayan, a grand fair is organized here on Kartik Purnima and Vaisakhi Purnima. A fair is also organized here during the Navdurga festival that comes twice a year. Priest Shivnarayan Sharma tells that he has been worshiping Mother Bhadrakali for 6 generations. Devotees from Mumbai and Delhi also come here to have darshan of the Mother Goddess. Whoever gets his wishes fulfilled here gets the temple developed here.
