The two minor daughters of the son-in-law, who claimed to have made his mother-in-law and father-in-law travel abroad, have been making rounds of the court for seven years for maintenance. The Family Court has ordered to pay the outstanding amount of Rs 11 lakh 40 thousand in six installments. This order has been given by the court of Family Court Chief Justice Dr. Bal Mukund while accepting the application filed on behalf of Kiran Verma.

The case is related to the Civil Lines police station area of ​​Prayagraj. Naveen and Kiran were married in 2007. After this both of them went to America. While there, they had two daughters. In 2014, both of them came to India and started living in Noida by purchasing two flats in joint names. Naveen’s parents also came there. Meanwhile, a mobile conversation started between Naveen’s old female friend. When Naveen did not agree even after protesting, his wife along with her two daughters came to her parents’ house in Prayagraj.

In 2017, Kiran had filed a dowry harassment case against Naveen, his father Indradev Verma, mother Anarkali and female friend. Also filed a maintenance case in the Family Court of District Court, Allahabad. In the case of dowry harassment, Naveen argued that he should make his in-laws and father-in-law travel abroad at his own expense. The High Court canceled the case of dowry harassment. But, from 2017 till now, Kiran is living with her two minor daughters at her father Sabhajit Verma’s house. Naveen is posted in a multinational company in Lucknow.
