Stall owner Murali Baba told Local 18 that at his place, plain dosa is available for Rs 40 and masala and butter masala dosa for Rs 50. Customers come from far and wide to taste this taste. However, he has worked very hard and struggled to reach this level.

Shadow of parents raised in childhood
Regarding his struggles, Murali Baba told that his parents had died when he was young. After this, his maternal grandparents raised him but in search of a better life, he moved to West Bengal. Here he worked at many different places. Meanwhile, while working in a hotel in West Bengal, he learned to make dosa from a Madrasi cook and further improving his skills, Murali Baba came to Bokaro and started selling idli and dosa on a bicycle near BSL Plus Two High School, Sector 2.

The journey started by selling dosa on bicycle
Gradually his hard work bore fruit and the journey that started with selling dosa on a bicycle has today reached a permanent shop. Today he runs his own shop in Sector 2, which people fondly call ‘Tabaaji Dosa Wale’. Along with the sale of dosa, a bhajan program also takes place here. Bharat, a customer eating dosa at his shop, told that the taste of dosa here is unique and wonderful and he has been coming here to eat dosa for the last 10 years. The taste here is the same every time.

How is special dosa made?
Regarding the process of making Dosa, Murali Baba told that first of all urad dal and rice are used. After expanding it and grinding it, batter is prepared which is spread on the pan. After this, potato chokha is spread and a lot of butter is also added. After adding more butter on top, it is served to the customer with sambar and chutney. 70 to 100 butter dosas are consumed at his shop every day. The shop opens from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.
