The registration process for the Prime Minister Internship Scheme 2024 has started at 5 pm today. The objective of this scheme is to provide internship opportunities to the youth in top companies. Any candidate who wants to do internship under this scheme should visit the official site to apply.

Age limit to apply

The age of the candidate applying for this scheme should be between 21 to 24 years. Also, the candidate should not be in full time employment. Also, one should not be involved in full-time education. However, candidates studying through online or distance learning can apply.

Who can apply?

High school and higher secondary pass students can apply for PM Internship Scheme 2024. Apart from this, ITI pass, Polytechnic Diploma holders and graduate candidates like BA, BSc, BCom, BCA, BBA and BPharm pass candidates are also eligible for this. However, candidates holding Post Graduate, IIT, NIT, IIM, National Law University graduates, MBA, CS, CA, MBBS and BDS degrees cannot apply for this scheme.

Internship Duration and Benefits

The duration of internship under this scheme will be 12 months. The central government has set a target of providing 1.25 lakh internship opportunities in top 500 companies for the financial year 2024-25. One crore candidates will get internship opportunity under this scheme in five years. During the internship, candidates will also be given a stipend of Rs 5,000 per month, which will provide them financial help.

How to apply?

  1. Visit the official website of PM Internship Scheme pminternship.mca.gov.in.

  2. Then click on the ‘Register’ link, which will open a new page.

  3. Fill all the required registration details here and then click on ‘Submit’.

  4. The portal will prepare your biodata based on the information provided by you.

  5. Now one has to apply for a maximum of five internship opportunities based on location, sector, functional role and qualification.

  6. Finally click on submit and download the confirmation page. Keep a printout of it with you for future.
