Youth dies after falling off track

A young man crossing the railway track in Orai of Jalaun district was hit by a train, due to which he died. Seeing the accident, local people reached the spot and informed the police. As soon as the information was received, Railway Police along with Kalpi Kotwali Police reached the spot and after investigating the case, took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem.
Jayant Kashyap (30), a resident of Kashiram Colony of Kalpi Kotwali area, started crossing the Jhansi-Kanpur railway track under the influence of alcohol on Saturday, when suddenly a train came, due to which he was crushed to death. There was an uproar among the family members on receiving the information. The police reached the information and sent the body for post-mortem. Kotwali in-charge Inspector Nagendra Pathak says that the deceased was under the influence of alcohol, hence this incident happened.
