Two Youths Drowned During Idol Immersion In Agra Pac Divers Engaged In Search – Amar Ujala Hindi News Live

Two youths drowned in the Khari river during the immersion of the goddess idol in Agra, Uttar Pradesh on Saturday afternoon. When the news was received, there was an outcry in the house. The present police force tried to search for them, but could not find them anywhere. After this, PAC divers are being called and their search is being done.

The matter is of Undera village of Kirawali police station area. Two girls resident of the village, Saraswati, daughter of Munshi, 18 years, and Naimi Chand, daughter of 16 years, started drowning after slipping. The villagers rescued them with tireless efforts. Eyewitness Chandrabhan, a resident of the village, said that at around 4 o’clock Anil, 26 year old son of Harichand and Saurabh, 19 year old son of Shyam Babu also drowned. Local people tried to search, but could not find him.

On receiving information about the incident, regional MLA Chaudhary Babulal, ACP Sheshamani Upadhyay, Sub-District Magistrate Rajesh Kumar, Naib Tehsildar HL Chaudhary and the police team arrived. Fatehpur Sikri’s prominent husband Guddu Chahar also reached. Chaudhary Babulal said that in this regard, he has called District Magistrate Arvind Malappa Bangari and Police Commissioner J Ravindra Gaur and asked them to send divers. Sub-District Magistrate Rajesh Kumar said that PAC divers have been called.

ACP Achhnera Sheshamani Upadhyay said that this incident did not happen during the immersion of the idol. Drowned while bathing in front of the railway bridge, about 100 meters away from the immersion site. Search is on for the drowned youth. PAC divers have been called from Agra.

Once a rumor spread that both the youths had met at Nagla Jeweller. When the rumor spread, the Sub-Collector and Naib Tehsildar arrived with force. But, the rumor turned out to be false. Till the time of writing the news, ACP Achhnera Sheshamani Upadhyay and Sub-District Magistrate Kirawali Rajesh Kumar were camping on the Khari river. Police station in-charge Kirawali Kewal Singh was also camping on the Khari river of May Force. Still, till night the rural devotees were going to immerse the idol of the goddess.
