The actor who played the role of Kumbhkaran in Ramleela died due to a heart attack. This accident happened on Friday night during the Ramlila stage organized at Chirag Delhi in Greater Kailash, South Delhi.
Here 60-year-old Vikram Taneja, who played the role of Kumbhkaran in Ramlila, died of a heart attack. Vikram Taneja was removing make-up after the performance of his character, when his health deteriorated. Fellow artists immediately took him to the nearest hospital, but there was no improvement in his condition. Doctors advised him to be taken to another hospital, but even after reaching there he could not be saved.
Vikram Taneja used to play the role of Kumbhakaran in Ramleela every year and was famous for his powerful acting. Earlier, the artist who played the role of Ram during a Ramlila staged in East Delhi had also died of a heart attack.
