Prakash Ambedkar On Sharad Pawar: Just before the assembly elections in Maharashtra, VBA’s Prakash Ambedkar has raised the political temperature by making a big claim about Sharad Pawar. Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi leader Ambedkar on Friday (October 18) claimed that senior politician Sharad Pawar had met underworld don Dawood Ibrahim in Dubai when he was the Chief Minister of Maharashtra.
According to PTI report, while speaking to journalists in Mumbai, Prakash Ambedkar claimed that the alleged meeting took place during 1988-91. He said, “When Sharad Pawar was the CM of Maharashtra, he first went to London and then to California for the meeting. He came back to London and then went to Dubai. He met Dawood Ibrahim in Dubai.

The chief of Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi expressed surprise and asked, “Had the Central Government approved this meeting?” At present, there is no reaction from Sharad Pawar or his party NCP (SP) regarding this statement of Prakash Ambedkar. Has not come.
The dates of assembly elections in Maharashtra have been announced. The main contest in the state is between two alliances, Mahavikas Aghadi and Mahayuti. It is believed that Prakash Ambedkar’s Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi may cause loss to Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA). After differences regarding alliance in the recently held Lok Sabha elections 2024, Prakash Ambedkar had chosen his own path.
Although Lok Sabha elections Prakash Ambedkar had contested elections separately but it did not have much impact on MVA. VBA did not achieve success even on a single seat. Prakash Ambedkar himself had lost the election badly from Akola Lok Sabha seat. Now it is the turn of assembly elections. Let us tell you that on November 20, voting will be held on all 288 seats in Maharashtra in a single phase. Whereas, counting of votes will take place on November 23.
