Up Police Constable Suicide: After the suicide of his wife in Auraiya district of Uttar Pradesh, a UP Police constable also committed suicide. The death of the couple created chaos in the family. Police say that action will be taken after receiving the complaint.
According to the information, around 11 am on Friday morning, after seeing a married woman hanging from a fan in a house in Mohalla Banarsidas of Auraiya, her in-laws took her to the district hospital. Here the doctor declared the woman dead.
Amidst the allegations and counter-allegations of the parents and in-laws, around 2.30 pm, it was reported that the dead body of the woman’s constable husband posted in Rae Bareli was found hanging. Everyone is hurt by the death of the couple within a span of three hours. Allegations from the maternal side and in-laws led to discord between the couple.
Santoshi (26), resident of Mohalla Banarsidas, was at home with her in-laws on Friday morning. Meanwhile, around 11.30 pm, there was a scream in the house and the neighbors also arrived. Santoshi, who was hanging from the noose in the room, was somehow brought down by the family members. Seeing her breathing, her in-laws took Santoshi to the district hospital with the help of the people of the locality.

Here the doctor declared Santoshi dead. On the other hand, on receiving information, people from Santoshi’s maternal side arrived from Ajit Nagar of Etawah district. Santoshi’s uncle Manoj Kumar told that Santoshi was married to Upendra Kumar, a resident of Banarsidas, in November 2023.
Presently Upendra Kumar is posted as a constable in Unchahar area of Rae Bareli. Santoshi’s uncle and other people from her maternal side told that after a few months of marriage, her husband Upendra and other in-laws used to harass Santoshi on some or the other day.
There were many compromises regarding this. Upendra Kumar used to threaten to go to the police every time. It is alleged that the in-laws murdered Santoshi, brought her to the hospital and fled.
Meanwhile, around 2.30 pm, information came from Rae Bareli that Upendra’s body was found hanging in his room. Upendra’s elder brother Satyendra told that no one had thought that a dispute over trivial matters would take the lives of both of them. Despite many efforts, there was no coordination between the two and such a step was taken.
Santoshi was ready to go to Rae Bareli on Karva Chauth
On Karva Chauth, Santoshi was ready to go to Rae Bareli with her soldier husband Upendra, when Upendra did not get leave for the festival, there was a dispute between them and within a few moments it became the reason for the death of both of them.
After Banarsidas Mohalla resident Santoshi committed suicide by hanging herself, the incident of her husband Upendra’s body being found hanging in Unchahar, Rae Bareli was shocking. Regarding the incident, Upendra’s elder brother Satyendra told that he is posted as a teacher in Achhalda.
He is the eldest in the family. Younger brother Upendra had come to leave Banarsidas a month ago after keeping his wife with him for two and a half months. There was a dispute between the couple while going back to duty. People from the maternal side also came.
Somehow, the dispute between the couple was calmed down by making both the parties sit together. Controversy had started once again regarding Upendra coming on leave on Karva Chauth and Santoshi going to Rae Bareli. Other people in the house were also explaining.
