The sound of an explosion was heard in Prashant Vihar area of Rohini on Sunday. The sound of the explosion was heard from the wall of the CRPF school. A plume of smoke was also visible after the explosion. DCP Rohini Amit Goyal said that the expert was called. The FSL team reached the spot and collected samples from the spot. White powder and pieces of wire were found from the spot. An FIR has been registered under the Explosives Act. At the same time, the Home Ministry has sought a report in this matter.
Rohini DCP Amit Goyal said that experts were called to find out the cause of the blast. It is not clear what type of blast it was and what is its source. DCP said that only the expert team will be able to give detailed information about the situation. Crime Branch Special Cell special staff all reached the spot.
At the same time, information about the incident was given to the fire brigade department at around 7:50 in the morning, after which two fire engines were immediately sent. However, no information about fire or damage to the wall has been received so far. Teams are continuously searching the area.
Delhi Police said that a PCR call was received at 7:47 am, in which the caller informed that there has been an explosion with a lot of noise near CRPF School Sector-14 Rohini. SHO/PV and staff reached the spot where the school wall was damaged and foul smell was coming. The glasses of a nearby shop and a car parked near the shop were found damaged. No one has been injured.
