The court of ADJ 6 Naval Kishore Singh has sentenced four people, including two real brothers, to life imprisonment in the case of shooting death of a youth that took place 14 years ago in Atrauli police station area of Aligarh. A fine of Rs 50 thousand has also been imposed.
ADGC JP Rajput told that this incident happened on 30 November 2010. In this case, Lal Singh, resident of village Nagla Lodha of Atrauli police station area, had filed a complaint saying that Shikshamitra Sarala’s wife Tulsi had an altercation with their son Narendra in the primary school of the village. On this matter Tulsi beats Narendra. On December 1, 2010, when Lal Singh’s son Roop Kishore asked Tulsi the reason for beating his brother, he abused and took out a pistol.
Meanwhile, Vinod and Deepchand came with a pistol in their hands and Rajesh alias Bhole with an ax and started fighting with Roop Kishore. When the noise was raised, Lal Singh’s wife Dharamwati, daughter Phoolwati, son Narendra and nephew Virendra came to his rescue. Then Tulsi opened fire on Roopkishore, Vinod on Narendra and Deepchand on Phoolwati. Rajesh attacked Dharamvati. Lal Singh and Virendra were beaten. Roop Kishore died on the spot due to bullet injury. Dharamwati, Phoolwati, Narendra and Virendra were also injured.
Police registered a case against Tulsi, Ramgopal alias Deepchand, Vinod alias Udayveer and Rajesh alias Bhole and filed a charge sheet. Among them, Tulsi and Deepchand and Vinod and Rajesh are real brothers. On the basis of session test and witnesses, the court has sentenced all four to life imprisonment. Deepchand, Tulsi and Rajesh have been punished with a fine of Rs 30 thousand each and Vinod has been punished with a fine of Rs 50 thousand. Fifty percent of the amount has been asked to be given as compensation to the injured.
