Aam Aadmi Party has not yet responded to these allegations of BJP. This residence has now been allotted to Atishi Marlena which was used by Arvind Kejriwal when he was the Chief Minister. It is alleged that crores of rupees have been spent in the reconstruction of this house. The BJP had criticized it by calling it Arvind Kejriwal’s ‘Sheesh Mahal’ or ‘Raj Mahal’. Now that Delhi Assembly elections have come, BJP has become aggressive on this issue.

Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva has alleged that Arvind Kejriwal started his politics as a common man. At the beginning of his politics, he had taken an oath in front of the public that he would not take anything like bungalow, car or security and he would live like a normal man and would bring about a big change in politics.

Sachdeva said that as soon as he became the Chief Minister, Kejriwal showed his true nature. They started spending crores of rupees from public money on luxuries. He said that Kejriwal uses a toilet seat worth Rs 10 to 12 lakh and takes bath in a shower worth more than Rs 1 crore. He has spent crores of rupees only in the decoration of the house. He said that Arvind Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party should explain how this is the politics of the common man.
