Another advantage of earthworms is that they increase the water absorption capacity of the soil by up to 20 percent. Due to peritropic membrane in vermicompost, the water evaporation of the area is very less. The need for irrigation is less. Where earthworm manure is used. There are less termites and weeds. Its fruits and vegetables are tasty to eat.
