Even before Diwali, the capital is wrapped in a blanket of smog. Due to this, people have started having burning sensation in the eyes and difficulty in breathing. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Delhi’s air quality index (AQI) was recorded at 364 on Wednesday, which is in the very poor category and 37 indices higher than Tuesday. This season, October 23 was the most polluted day.
