Now years later, Zayed Khan has told how he got the role in this film.
In an interview given to YouTube channel Couple of Things, Zayed Khan told how he got this role. Not only this, before her casting, Shahrukh Khan had also asked her a question, after which she felt very bad.

In the interview, Zayed Khan told that Farah Khan had called him and asked him to meet in Shahrukh Khan’s office. Zayed said- ‘Farah looked at me and I said Farah I don’t know why I am here but she said calm down for two minutes. I found her very rude. I was trying to talk. By then Shahrukh Khan came there. He is Shahrukh Khan, very sweet, very lovable. Zayed said that I was just listening to them but I was not understanding. Then he told me – I am there, we have called you for the second lead. I couldn’t say anything. He said- All of them stop talking here and there. I just want to ask you one question – are you an actor? Can you act? I felt very bad that someone spoke to me like this.
