In fact, in a latest interview given to NDTV, jailed Lawrence’s cousin Ramesh Bishnoi spoke openly about the gangster’s feud with Salman Khan. Ramesh claimed that when the black buck issue erupted and the Bishnois condemned Salman, the actor had offered them money as compensation. He said that Salman had come to meet the community leaders with a blank checkbook and asked them to pay whatever price they wanted in exchange for closing the case. “If we were after money, we would have accepted it,” Ramesh said.
Let us tell you that Salman’s father Salim Khan had alleged that Lawrence Bishnoi is targeting Salman for money. On this allegation of the actor’s father, Ramesh Bishnoi said that this issue is not based on money but on ideology. “Our blood was boiling at that time,” Ramesh said, adding that Lawrence owned 110 acres of land in India and was so wealthy that he did not need to resort to any kind of extortion.

The incident of blackbuck hunting took place in Jodhpur in 1998. During that time Salman Khan had gone there for the film ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’. Along with him, other stars Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre and Neelam Kothari were also in the film. This case has been going on for 25 years and after being convicted, Salman is currently on bail. The Bishnoi community, which considers the blackbuck sacred, has repeatedly asked Salman to apologize for his action.
