A case related to Government Girls Middle School in Haspura of Aurangabad district has come to light, where the video of Mid Day Meal Scheme (MDM) rice being taken from the school by e-rickshaw to the headmaster’s house is going viral. This incident is said to have happened on Tuesday. In this viral video, it can be seen that six sacks of rice are being taken from the school on an e-rickshaw. In the second video, nine bags of rice are seen kept at the house of Ravi Shankar Pathak, the headmaster of the same school.

It is being said that some children near the school made a video of this incident and shared it on social media. It is seen in the video that sacks of rice are kept on a bench at the headmaster’s house. In the video, the rice was examined by the youth by making an incision in the sack and the rice was found to be clean. This increased the suspicion that the rice was sent from the school to the headmaster’s house for black marketing.
Headmaster gave clarification
In this matter, Headmaster Ravi Shankar Pathak, while presenting his side, said that the rice was infested with insects, hence it was sent for sorting. However, when the youth asked him to show the place where rice was sorted, he hesitated. After this the headmaster took the youth to his home and showed them the rice. Where the rice was completely fresh, which further increases the suspicion.
Haspura’s Block Development Officer Pradeep Kumar Chaudhary and Block Education Officer Ashok Kumar have taken cognizance of this viral video. He said that the matter will be investigated. If found guilty, strict action will be taken against the headmaster or other concerned persons.
