In Bettiah, Bihar, a friend was murdered by friends over a money transaction. The verdict has come after a year, completing the hearing of the case. All three accused have been sentenced to life imprisonment. At the same time, fine has also been imposed.
Completing the hearing of the case, Additional District Sessions Judge VIII Ashok Kumar Manjhi has declared three accused guilty. The convicted have been identified as Paramhans Chaudhary, Surendra Chaudhary and Ramu Chaudhary, residents of Kunjalhi Khadda of Nautan police station. The incident is of 14 October 2023. The deceased was Javed Hawari and the convicted friend. The convicted had taken money from Javed. He was demanding money from the convicted but the accused were reluctant to give the money. He remained reluctant for a long time, when the deceased started pressuring him to ask for money, his friends felt that he was not going to agree anymore. All three had murdered their friend as part of a conspiracy. Which had become a topic of discussion in the area.
Public Prosecutor Arvind Kumar Singh said that all three accused have been sentenced to life imprisonment. Besides, all three have been ordered to pay a fine of Rs 23,000 each. If the fine is not paid, all three will have to face additional punishment of three months each. This decision of the court has come within just one year.
