Rishi Kapoor-Neetu Singh: Late Rishi Kapoor was called the original chocolate boy of Bollywood and there used to be a queue of actresses for him. However, Rishi Kapoor broke many hearts by marrying Neetu Singh in 1980. The couple had two children, a son, actor Ranbir Kapoor, and a daughter, Riddhima Kapoor.
Rishi Kapoor shared the screen with many actresses. His pairing with many actresses including Sridevi, Madhuri Dixit, Juhi Chawla, Divya Bharti and Tina Munim was a hit. There was also an actress from whom Neetu Singh felt ‘threatened’. Actually, when Rishi Kapoor worked again with his Bobby co-actress Dimple Kapadia in the 1985 film Sagar, Neetu Singh felt that there was something between the two. Late actor Rishi Kapoor wrote in his autobiography Khullam Khulla, “But he needn’t have worried. Dimple was a friend, if not more so than during Bobby. Ten years had passed; she was married. And I was well settled with two children. I am a happy married man and my wife is also very supportive. “She is not just my wife, she is also my friend.”
Let us tell you that Dimple Kapadia was married to superstar Rajesh Khanna. He left acting after his first film Bobby in 1973. However, this marriage did not last long and Dimple Kapadia made a comeback in films two years after her separation from Rajesh Khanna. Rishi Kapoor had revealed in his book that when he worked on Sagar, he and Dimple Kapadia were in very different phases of life.

Rishi Kapoor had also shared what was Neetu Singh’s reaction when he agreed to work with Dimple Kapadia in Sagar. The actor had said, “Neetu might have had some objections, but she was very polite about the whole thing. It is to her credit that she did not shy away from her point and allowed me to do Sagar. If ever there was any sourness in our relationship. , so it was because of me, and yet, those reasons had nothing to do with any other woman in my life, she has been a rock and stood by me in my weakest moments, even when she got better. Or worse, she will achieve it in every way.”
