In Hajipur, fearless criminals called a young man and locked him in a room and then demanded extortion of Rs 5 lakh from his family. They were also threatening to kill the young man if he did not pay the extortion money. The family members immediately informed this to the police station. As soon as the information was received, the police swung into action and took immediate action and raided the location and rescued the kidnapped youth safely. Police have arrested two criminals from the spot in this case. However, one miscreant managed to escape from the spot. In this case, the family members of the youth have applied to the city police station and lodged an FIR against the three miscreants. Police are conducting raids to arrest the accused. The incident took place behind a hotel located near Anjanpeer Chowk of Nagar police station area. Yash Raj Kumar, son of Chandeshwar Prasad Singh, resident of Anjanpir ward number 9 of Nagar police station area, was kidnapped.
The kidnappers had demanded ransom of Rs 5 lakh from the mobile phone of the kidnapped youth.
Regarding the incident, Chandeshwar Prasad Singh, father of the victim youth, has said in the application given to the police that last Friday around 7 pm, Sonu Kumar, a resident of Madai Chowk, called him near a private hotel in the village. As soon as Kyash Raj When he reached the back of the hotel, the accused Sonu Kumar, Prakash Kumar and Adarsh Singhania started beating him and then locked him in a house. The youth says that during the fight, all three took out Rs 25,000 from his pocket. Then he called from his mobile and demanded extortion of Rs 5 lakh from his father. During the threat it was also said that Yash Raj would be murdered if the miscreants did not pay the money. As soon as the call was received, Yashraj’s father Chandeshwar Prasad Singh informed the local police station about the incident without any delay. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and arrested two accused Sonu Kumar and Prakash Kumar. However, in this scuffle, Adarsh Singhania managed to escape from the spot.

In this regard, Police Station Head Sunil Kumar said that two youths are being detained and interrogated in connection with the case of beating a youth near Anjanpeer Chowk, taking him hostage and demanding extortion. An FIR has been registered on the basis of the victim’s application. Raids are being conducted to arrest the absconding accused.
