What promise did Kamala Harris make just before the elections?
While addressing a rally in Michigan just before the US Presidential elections, Vice President Kamala Harris has made many big promises. Kamala Harris has promised at the rally to end the ongoing war in Gaza with Israel, bring all the hostages back home safely, ensure the security of Israel and the dignity and right of the Palestinian people to self-determination.
Addressing the crowd at the rally, Kamala Harris said, “This year has been very difficult, given the death and destruction in Gaza, civilian casualties and displacement in Lebanon.” She said, “If I am elected president, I will try to end the war in Gaza. I will also bring back all the hostages and victims in Gaza. Along with ensuring the security of Israel, I will also provide the Palestinian people with their rights to dignity, freedom, security and self-determination.” She said she would continue to work on diplomatic solutions on the Israel-Lebanon border.
Promise to reduce health costs
While addressing the rally, Kamala Harris also assured to reduce the cost spent on health. He said that healthcare should be a right and not just a privilege. Kamala Harris also emphasized making child care more affordable and home care for senior citizens. She has assured that if she becomes the President, she will fulfill all these promises at any cost.
