In Khagaria, fearless criminals shot dead a middle-aged man. In this incident, the police station chief who had gone to investigate was also shot by the criminals. However, he narrowly escaped in this incident. However, the police chased and caught the criminal who is being interrogated.
Regarding the incident, police say that Shailendra Singh, a resident of Mahadipur under Pasraha police station area, was walking outside his house at around 8 pm on Tuesday night. During this time the criminals shot him dead. After which the criminals fled from the spot. The reason behind the murder is said to be a land dispute. Here, on receiving information about the incident, Pasraha police station chief Sanjay Vishwas reached the incident site and started taking stock of the incident. Then a criminal opened fire on the police station chief. However, in this incident the bullet missed his head. The police chased and caught the criminal. The police are currently interrogating the accused criminal. At present the police station incharge is being treated at Sadar Hospital Khagaria. Local people said that the police station chief was chasing the criminals involved in the incident to catch them. During this time he was shot. However, Khagaria SP Chandan Kumar Kushwaha himself reached the incident site and started investigation.
It is worth noting that even six years ago, Ashish Kumar, who was posted as police station chief in Pasraha police station, was murdered by criminals. After which the said police station was declared very sensitive. Here, after this incident, once again questions are being raised on Khagaria Police. The morale of criminals is continuously increasing. If we talk about the last four months, half a dozen murders have been committed in Khagaria. Local people allege that the police has not been able to solve those murder cases till now.
