Chhaava Release Date: Vicky Kaushal is coming with the period drama film Chhaava. The teaser of the film has been released in which he is seen doing tremendous action. Rashmika Mandanna is going to be seen in the lead role with Vicky in this film. This film was earlier scheduled to release on December 6, but now if reports are to be believed, the makers are planning to postpone the film because they do not want to clash with Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2.
Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna’s film Pushpa 2 is going to be released on December 5 this year. Whereas the release date of Chhava is 6th December, there will be a tough competition between the two. To avoid the clash, the makers of Chhaava have decided to postpone it so that both the films can make good collections.
When can it be released?
If reports are to be believed, the makers are planning to postpone Chhaava and release it in January next year. However, the makers have not yet made any official announcement regarding the postponement. If Chhava is postponed then it will benefit at the box office.
The production team wants to give the film a less-crowded release date, so that it can attract the audience’s interest without clashing with any other release. They are considering a release date of 2025, with January being considered the top option, so that the film has a strong chance of standing on its own.
Laxman Utekar has directed this film. The film is based on Shivaji Sawant’s Marathi novel Chhaava, which tells about the life and struggles of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the brave son of Chhatrapati Shivaji. Vicky Kaushal will be seen in the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in the film. Rashmika Mandanna will be seen in the role of Vicky Kaushal’s wife in the film. Apart from Vicky and Rashmika, Divya Dutta plays the role of Sambhaji’s stepmother Soyrabai and Akshaye Khanna plays the role of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb.
