According to the doctor, his condition is critical. All three injured are undergoing treatment at GMCH Bettiah. The incident took place in ward number one of Majholia village of Majholia police station area. There is an outcry among the family members after the incident. The family members are in bad condition and crying. In this incident, Vikram Shah’s wife Rita Devi and his two sons Ravi Kumar and Prashant Kumar have been badly burnt.
Fire caused by leakage of gas cylinder
Regarding the incident, the relatives of the injured say that on the occasion of Chhath Puja, the great festival of folk faith, all the people of the same family were sitting together and cooking food, when suddenly the gas pipe started leaking and the cylinder caught fire. The flames were so strong that it was difficult to control them. The three people sitting near the gas cylinder started extinguishing the fire. During this, all three got badly burnt. Hearing their screams, people nearby came running and somehow extinguished the fire. All three were badly burnt. The people nearby immediately took him to the hospital, but seeing his serious condition, the doctors gave him first aid and referred him to GMCH Bettiah for better treatment. At present, Rita Devi, Ravi Kumar and Prashant Kumar are undergoing treatment at GMCH Bettiah.
