Bhoomi pujan ceremony is being held in the sports complex (main ground) of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University for the 70th national convention of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad. Congress state president Ajay Rai has given a sharp reaction on this.
He said that the invitation letter is being distributed by the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Poonam Tandon herself. The Vice Chancellor and Pro Vice Chancellor are forcing the teachers to come to the group of university teachers. This is an attempt to unionize educational institutions, which we condemn. It also said that the money meant for the education and development of common students is being spent on promoting the ideas of the Sangh and strengthening its affiliate ABVP, which is condemnable.
