At present the work of sowing Rabi crops has started. In this season, farmers use fertilizers and pesticides for good crop yield. Because their hard work and cost increases. Bihar government has taken a new initiative with the aim of reducing the cost and hard work of farmers. According to the state government, pesticides will be sprayed using drones in 53400 acres of all 38 districts of Bihar. According to the Bihar Government Agriculture Department, NPK, Kansotiya, Nano Urea, Nano DAP and other fertilizers including micro elements will be sprayed by drones in all the districts of the state. Only farmers registered on the DBT portal of the Agriculture Department will be able to avail the benefits of this scheme.
Government will pay Rs 20 per acre to the farmer
The farmer will be paid Rs 20 per acre by the government. Farmers will have to pay the remaining amount themselves. A farmer will be given a grant for spraying a maximum of 10 acres with drones. The drone will be made available by the government. For this, the government has selected an agency at the state level. As per the demand of the farmers, the agency providing drone service will prepare the fertilizer solution and get it sprayed in the presence of the Agriculture Department personnel.

There will be more pesticide spraying in these areas
In Jehanabad, Khagaria, Lakhisarai and Kishanganj, pesticide will be sprayed with drones in seven hundred acres each. Pesticides will be sprayed on two thousand acres each in Nalanda, Samastipur and Saran, 21 hundred acres in Madhubani, and 14 hundred acres each in Bhojpur, Nawada, Gopalganj and Purnia. Crops will be protected by spraying insecticides on 11 hundred acres each in Buxar, Kaimur, Aurangabad, Banka and Supaul, 27 hundred acres in East Champaran and 13 hundred acres in Madhepura.
