A driver died in a collision between a trailer and a tractor in Nalanda on Sunday morning. The matter is near NH 20 Mora Pachasa under Bhagan Bigha OP. At present the tractor driver has not been identified. Bhagan Vigha OP in-charge Shailesh Kumar Jha said that there was a collision between a tractor and a trailer on Sunday morning. The accident was so severe that the tractor driver died on the spot. The body has been taken into custody and sent to Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and the deceased is being identified. Information has also been given to the nearby police station. Help of social media is also being taken for identification.
Trailer driver ran away leaving the vehicle
People say that the collision between the tractor and the trailer was so severe that the tractor was blown to pieces. The front part of the trailer was also completely damaged. The tractor was loaded with bricks and was going on the wrong side. After this accident, the trailer driver left the vehicle on the spot and ran away.
Traffic disrupted for some time
The brick loaded on the tractor trolley got scattered on the road and traffic was blocked for some time. However, the police reached the spot, moved the damaged tractor off the road, removed bricks from the road and made the traffic smooth again.
