It is a matter of happiness for the farmers that IFFCO fertilizer company, which brings Nano Liquid Urea and Nano Liquid DAP, has developed Nano NPK nutrient. IFFCO company has sought permission from the government to bring it in the market. The company will produce Nano NPK at its Kandla unit. Farmers will benefit greatly from this.
According to IFFCO Managing Director US Awasthi, the cooperative organization IFFCO will launch Nano NPK product in the market, which is in the form of granules, after getting necessary approval from the government. Awasthi told that IFFCO will make this product available to the farmers at Rs 950 per 5 kg bag. This will significantly reduce the consumption of urea and di-ammonium phosphate i.e. DAP. The farmer will directly benefit from this.

He said that in September, IFFCO has invested about Rs 2,000 crore since 2017 on its two new innovative products Nano Liquid Urea and Nano Liquid DAP. He hopes that farmers will take advantage of these key nutrients on a large scale in the next two-three years. This will reduce the cost of the farmer’s crop.

IFFCO launched the world’s first ‘Nano Liquid Urea’ fertilizer in June 2021. After this it brought Nano-DAP fertilizer in April 2023. A bottle of Nano Urea of 500 ml will be available to the farmer for about Rs 240. Apart from this, farmers will get Nano Liquid DAP for Rs 600 per bottle.
