Amazon Data Breach: The world’s leading e-commerce company Amazon has made a big disclosure. Amazon has said that the data of some of its employees has gone into the wrong hands. According to reports, this attack took place on a third-party vendor. Due to this attack, contract information of employees like their emails, phone numbers, building location etc. was leaked. However, the company has said that AWS (Amazon Web Services) or its main system has not been affected in this attack. It is being told that the attack is related to MOVEit Transfer, which made many organizations of the world its victims last year.

Data leaked on BreachForums
According to media reports, an alleged hacking group named Name3L3ss leaked the stolen data on BreachForums. Amazon is not the first company to fall victim to MOVEit Transfer. Before this, companies like HP and HSBC have also become its victims.
Amazon spokesperson said this
In this matter, Amazon spokesperson Adam Montgomery has said that due to this attack, there has been no impact on Amazon’s main systems like Amazon and AWS systems. According to the company, only company employee’s data – like office email, desk phone number and building address – have been leaked. However, the company has not revealed how many of its employees’ data has been leaked so far.
