Voting continues on Tarari assembly seat
By-election is being held on Tarari assembly seat in Bhojpur district. Voting is going on here at 332 polling stations under the protection of Bihar Police and additional police forces. 308149 will decide the fate of the candidates in Water by-election in Tarari. There are one lakh 63 thousand male voters on this seat. Whereas one lakh 45 thousand women voters are also going to cast their vote. Booth numbers 03 and 04 of Pushpa High School of Piro have been made model booths. Piro DSP KK Singh said that voters should cast their vote without fear.

Bihar By Election 2024 Live: Voting begins on four assembly seats, 38 candidates including five women in the electoral fray
Voting has started in four assembly seats of Bihar (Belaganj, Imamganj, Tarari and Ramgarh) from 7 am on Wednesday. Voters started queuing up at the booth as early as 6:30 in the morning. All preparations had already been done by the administration at the polling stations. The fate of a total of 38 candidates will be locked in the electronic voting machine today. Among these candidates, 33 are male, while five are female candidates. There are 12 lakh 2 thousand 63 voters including 346 polling stations in Imamganj assembly constituency, 332 in Tarari, 305 in Belaganj and 294 polling stations in Ramgarh. Among these, 315389 voters in Imamganj, 308149 in Tarari, 288782 in Belaganj and 289743 voters in Ramgarh will decide the fate of the candidates by exercising their franchise. Keeping in view the sensitivity of the elections, Bihar Police has given election duty to a total of 10 thousand security forces along with more than two thousand home guards.
