Pakistan Hindu Girl found dead: The bodies of two young girls from the Hindu community were found hanging from a tree on the banks of Babuhar Hingorja village near Islamkot Tharparkar in India’s neighboring country Pakistan last Sunday (November 10) evening. According to the report, the names of the deceased girls are Hema and Venti, whose age is between 15 to 17 years. After the incident, there has been a stir in the area and a situation of fear has arisen. Police officials said the victims’ family told them that the girls had gone to work in the fields while others were busy with household work. He told that after about half an hour he received information that the sisters were seen hanging from a tree.
The parents told the police that both the sisters had mental health problems. His third sister had also died by suicide four years ago. Villagers told local journalists that the family lived in isolation, away from the main settlement of the village. There were no disputes or problems with the family that he was aware of. He told that the engagement of the sisters had allegedly taken place two years ago.
Atrocities against Hindus in Pakistan
According to a report by Voice of Pakistan Minority, at least 42 cases of atrocities against Hindus were exposed on regional news channels in Pakistan in the first two months of 2023. These include incidents of kidnapping, gang rape, forced religious conversion and mob lynching. While six cases of religious conversion and marriage were reported in the month of January last year, five such cases were reported in February. Of these, at least nine cases are mentioned in which bodies of Hindu victims were found hanging and at least four cases of murder.
