On Tuesday, the administration took major action against illegal encroachers in Bilsanda, Pilibhit. The shops built by occupying government land at village Tilchi intersection were demolished with bulldozers. There was chaos during the operation.

In Bilsanda, Pilibhit, the administration demolished 11 shops built by occupying government land with bulldozers. During the action taken on Tuesday, the house built by Pradhan was also demolished. During this time, the occupant also had an altercation with the team present at the spot. The situation did not worsen due to the presence of police.
After capturing the government land at village Tilchi intersection, 11 shops were constructed illegally here. In this matter, a complaint was made by a person from the village. In the complaint, the village head’s husband Hanif and others were accused of illegally constructing houses along with shops. A case was also filed in the Tehsildar court. After this, a suit was filed in the District Magistrate Court, from where an order was issued to remove the encroachment. Action on this started from the tehsil level.
Regional Accountant Vidit had issued a notice to the occupants and given them 15 days to remove encroachment from the land. When the encroachment was not removed, a notice was issued again and three days’ time was given. After this, on Tuesday, Tehsildar Karam Singh, Naib Tehsildar Virendra Kumar along with the revenue and police team reached the spot and took action.
