On Wednesday, the Feelkhana police has registered an FIR against the teacher on the complaint of the student’s mother in connection with the beating of a nursery student in a private school located on Birhana Road. Kurswan resident Deepak Tulsyani, who works in mobile repairing at Sagar Market, said that his 4-year-old son studies in nursery at Lofty Well Kids Pre School located on Birhana Road. Last Monday, when the son returned home from school, he was very scared.

He was not eating food as usual. When wife Shikha asked several times, the son told that teacher Ritika Saxena was writing ABCD on the notebooks of the children. Because of her inability to write, the teacher pulled her hair several times and slapped her. When the family members reached the school and saw the CCTV footage of the class, they lost their temper after seeing the teacher pulling her hair twice and slapping her five times within 49 seconds and started a ruckus. Mother Shikha told that husband Deepak forgave the teacher on the basis of her apology and withdrew the complaint.

But later the teacher made a false statement that the child had a problem with his eyes and was not healthy. Feelkhana Inspector Ravindra Pratap Singh said that action is being taken against teacher Ritika Saxena under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act 2015 for causing hurt, intimidation.
