Akshay Kashyap’s startup ‘Kitabwala.com’, a fourth year computer science student of Sitamarhi Institute of Technology (SIT), Gosaipur, located in Dumra block of Sitamarhi district, has achieved triple success. His startup has been selected in the pitching competition ‘Eureka 2024’ organized by the Entrepreneurship Cell of IIT Bombay. Besides, IIM Lucknow and ‘MSME Hackathon 4.0’ have also selected his startup for the second round.
Akshay started working on his startup from the second year of B.Tech. Till now he is continuously pushing his startup forward and is succeeding in giving it a strong direction. Their startup was selected in the zonal round of Eureka, in which more than 25,000 startups from across Asia had registered.
Faculty in-charge of SIT, Prof. Nishant Kumar said that Eureka is Asia’s largest entrepreneurship pitching program, in which Akshay’s selection is a matter of pride. College Principal Dr. Sunil Kumar and Media Incharge Dr. Ashish Kumar also expressed happiness over Akshay’s success and told that Kitabwala.com has also been selected in the incubation program of IIM Lucknow.
Dr. Sunil Kumar further said that Akshay has now become a job provider for others, which is a big change in today’s times. His success will not only inspire the students of his institute, but it will also be a great source of inspiration for other youth. He also informed that a startup cell has been established in SIT, which encourages new startups. With the help of this cell, so far eight startups have received seed fund of Rs 10 lakh from the Bihar government, due to which more youth are being inspired towards entrepreneurship.
