Chhattisgarh Tourism Board has been honored with the Hospitality India Award for its excellent work in the field of hospitality and tourism. Chhattisgarh Tourism Board officer Atul Singhal received this honor from the hands of former Union Tourism Minister KJ Alphonso. BJP leader Shyam Jaju, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva and organizer Sunit Kalra were also present on the occasion at the award ceremony organized in a five-star hotel in the capital.

After receiving the award, Atul Singhal said that following the policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai and the Chhattisgarh government are making every possible effort to promote tourism. He told that due to the land of Mata Kaushalya and the Ram Van Gaman route, there are immense possibilities of pilgrimage in Chhattisgarh. This beautiful region is also known for its sanctuaries, forests and waterfalls. While addressing the audience, former Union Tourism Minister KJ Alphonso appealed to the people to pay special attention towards cleanliness and health to increase tourism in the country.
