The Sabarmati Report Box Office Collection Day 3: Vikrant Massey’s controversial film ‘The Sabarmati Report’ has hit the theaters on November 15. This film, based on the 2002 Godhra incident, took a slow opening at the box office on the first day, but as the weekend approached, there was a sharp increase in the film’s earnings.

The official figures related to the film’s earnings have been posted by the film’s lead actor Vikrant Massey from his Insta handle. According to which the film earned Rs 1.69 crore on the first day. There was a jump of about 70% in the film’s second day’s earnings and it increased to Rs. 2.62 crores. The film earned Rs 4.31 crore in just two days.
The official figures of the third day of the film will be revealed by tomorrow. But according to the preliminary figures of today’s earnings released on the box office statistics website Sacknilk, the film has earned Rs 1.67 crore till 5:25 pm. The total earning of the film has been Rs 6.07 crore.

Meanwhile PM Narendra Modi has also posted from his X handle praising the film. He has written, “It is a good thing that this truth is coming out and that too in such a way that common people can see it.”
The PM further wrote, ‘Fake narrative can last only for some time. After all, facts always come out!”

Story and Starcast of The Sabarmati Report
This film is based on the fire incident that took place in Godhra, Gujarat in February 2002. Then 59 innocent people traveling in a bogie of Sabarmati Express lost their lives in this incident. This story is based on how this incident was covered by Hindi and English media at that time.
Vikrant Massey plays the role of a journalist in the film. Along with him, Riddhi Dogra and Raashi Khanna are also seen in important roles. The film has been directed by Dheeraj Sarna.
