This time, due to Mahakumbh, a proposal to conduct the high school and intermediate examinations of Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council after the last bathing festival of Mahashivratri has been sent to the government. A senior officer of the UP Board administration confirmed this on the request of anonymity.
The Board believes that this time, in the Mahakumbh, which will be held as the world’s largest cultural gathering, a crowd of devotees not only from the country but from every corner of the world will gather in Sangam city. In such a situation, it would be appropriate to conduct the board examinations only after the last Snan festival. In 2024, the examinations started from 22nd February. During the last five years, the board exams were conducted in March only in 2022.
This time Mahakumbh will start from Paush Purnima Snan festival on 13th January. The first Shahi Snan is on 14th January. Starting from Paush Purnima on 13 January on the banks of Sangam, the Maha Kumbh procession will start stopping on the last bathing festival of Mahashivratri on 26 February. In such a situation, due to crowd pressure, the board wants to conduct the examinations only after the last Snan festival. In such a situation, it is believed that the board exams will start only after 26th February.
