Due to snowfall in the mountains, the scorching cold in Kashi has increased. The minimum temperature reached 7.6 degrees Celsius, which is 2.9 degrees Celsius below normal. According to the data available with the Meteorological Department, Saturday has been the coldest night this season. Earlier on December 14, 2021, the minimum temperature was recorded at 7 degrees Celsius. This is the second time in nine years, i.e. between December 14, 2015 and December 14, 2024, when the temperature remained below eight degrees.

According to BHU meteorologist, now there will be severe winter. The minimum temperature may fall further on Sunday. There is a possibility of fog increasing.
